New Orleans has the largest number of people living with
HIV/AIDS of any city in Louisiana.

Part of the Treme neighborhood ranks 1st in HIV/AIDS case rates in
New Orleans.

Over 70% of all new HIV/AIDS diagnosed individuals living in the
New Orleans area are African Americans.

Approximately 85% of all women living with HIV/AIDS in the New
Orleans area are African American
